Centennial Coal Angus Plc, located North West of Lithgow is an underground longwall coal mine, supplying coal within NSW / Queensland and for export.
We were briefed to supply our Hybrid AST-1782P Wind Turbine / Solar lighting system. Due to being a high-altitude region (with snow seasons) the Hybrid solar system was the best solution to meet challenging weather conditions allowing both wind & photovoltaic to work in combination and have safety lighting 24/7 on the mine’s roads and walkways. System combination: 100W Led/ DC24V Turbine/90W Photovoltaic panel array (solar).
